For the first time, the Mineski Pro-Gaming League South East Asia (MPGL SEA) Grand Finals will be held outside of the Philippines, instead taking place in Selangor, Malaysia as part of the 2015 Selangor Cyber Games May 9-10, 2015. Twelve of the best professional Dota 2 teams in South East Asia plus a qualified team from China are all set to clash in the upcoming MPGL SEA Grand Finals.

MPGL SEA this year will be the third one and is again organized by the Philippine-Malaysian esports-organizing team, Mineski-Events Team. A total of 50,000 USD in prize money are on the line in this major regional championship event which is almost double of last year’s 29,600 USD. Champion will receive 30,000 USD, 1st Runner up 10,000 USD, 2nd Runner up 7,000 USD, and finally 3rd Runner up 3,000 USD.

Philippines will have two delegate teams competing in the championship namely Mineski-Dota and TheNetCom Pro Team. Both qualified after a long series of tournaments organized locally by Mineski-Events Team with partner organizations Pacific Esports and TNC Gaming. The two Filipino teams will be contesting the MPGL SEA championship title with 10 other participating teams from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, China, and South Korea.
