Capcom has announced the upcoming overseas release of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. The title will be launched exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS in early 2015. The new game, called Monster Hunter 4G in Japan, will be released domestically in late 2014.
Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto has also noted that the new game will be available only for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console, unlike the last Ultimate titled sequel in the popular franchise, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which was released on both Nintendo Wii U and 3DS platforms.
As reported earlier, the original Monster Hunter 4 for Nintendo 3DS sold more than 3 million units in Japan since the game’s launch in 2013. Capcom posted strong sales growth, up 16.9 per cent year-on-year, and rising profits for most recent six-month fiscal period, which included MH4 revenues.
